CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movement (pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running), performed at high intensity.
You will not find any machines – instead, you will find kettlebells, barbells, medicine balls, sleds, and areas for jumping, climbing, and lifting. All workouts are completely scalable, which means that a new participant and a CrossFit veteran can complete the same workout with changes in load and intensity.

This is great for those at beginner fitness levels with little knowledge of workout form and function as well as athletes training for a specific sport or anyone that prefers to workout in a quieter, more personal setting.
Our Crossfit Kids program is not just a scaled version of CrossFit, rather a specifically program designed to be fun and to meet the special needs of kids, that including running, jumping, pulling and pushing movements.
Felix is the owner and head coach at CrossFit Fig. Felix studied Health Promotion and Physical Education at Emporia State University, and gain experience Personal Training at the Emporia State University Recreation Center, followed by 2 years at 24 Hour Fitness where he received a certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Soon after leaving 24 Hour Fitness Felix and his wife Fatima decided to work towards their dream of owning their own business. Felix now uses his experience to lead classes and train future Coaches. One of his favorite parts of training is the connections he makes with his athletes.

Fatima grew up in Rio de Janeiro playing futsal, team handball and surfing. After moving to Missouri and meeting her husband, she began to share his passion for fitness. Together they opened Fig and now to inspire others into a healthy and more active lifestyle. Fatima loves to coach and has closely studied CrossFit and all its movements, and is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer.

Andy is a former Army Infantry Paratrooper. His meritorious service as a member of the famed 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team included a year spent in the mountains of Afghanistan. Andy utilizes the capacities he forged as a soldier in his efficacy as a strength and conditioning coach. Fitness is his life.
Chad is a former college baseball player. After this career came to an end he still had a passion for strength and conditioning. Finding himself hitting a wall in the gym he wanted to try something new. He found CrossFit and hasn’t looked back. The dedication to coaching has always been there. After entering Fig and recognizing the investment the coaches had into each and every client, he knew he could be a part of something extremely rare and special.
